The moisturizer step — how to lock in what you just applied

Every step before your moisturizer prepares your skin. Your moisturizer helps keep that hydration where it belongs.

Your skin loses water throughout the day. The environment, air conditioning and sun exposure all draw moisture out. Without a sealing step, the hydration from your essence and serum can be lost more easily.

Why lightweight matters in Malaysian conditions

In Malaysia, with heat, humidity and long hours in air conditioning, a rich cream can feel heavy for many people. A lightweight gel moisturizer gives you the sealing step without that heavy feel, so it is comfortable to wear morning and night.

Who this is for

People who find moisturizers too heavy. People with oilier skin who skip moisturizer, because dehydrated skin can look and feel oilier. People whose skin feels dry by noon despite moisturizing, which can often point to a missing sealing step.

Morning and night, after your serum has absorbed.

  1. Dispense a small amount onto your fingertip. A pea-sized amount is enough for the full face.
  2. Dot onto 5 points: forehead, both cheeks, nose and chin.
  3. Spread lightly upward and outward using both hands. Press gently to help absorption.
  4. Skin should feel fresh and comfortable, not sticky and not heavy.

In the morning, follow with Suncare Base SPF30 PA++ as your final step. At night, this is your last step.
